 The spring of 2001 marks the fifth year since planting the first roots here on Bainbridge Island.
I am now growing 40 varieties of temperate bamboos chosen for their functionality, beauty and hardiness. Each season builds on the excitement towards mature groves. Varieties included are for timber, craft, food, hedge rows and landscaping. I have bamboos suited for Northwest shade gardens and several dwarf varieties.
