COMPUTER BASICS

This course is designed for novice computer users and those without any computer background. Each student will use a computer and receive hands-on training, using various types of software programs. The course is intended to help students select a computer to suit their needs, understand the basics of how a computer functions, and which software products perform different functions. Basic instruction in the use of several software programs, including Windows '95, Word, and Netscape is provided. Additional $5 material fee payable to the instructor.
