The Bainbridge Island Community School Program is sponsored by the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of the program is to link community educational needs with resources to enhance the occupational skills and interests of local citizens. A variety of classes are designed to help people to enhance their existing work skills or to learn new ones. Classes are held in the evening during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. They range from two to 16 hours and are taught by members of the local business community, many of whom also teach at surrounding community colleges.
