BEGINNING CONVERSATION, SWEDISH
Learn the basic functional conversational Swedish taught using a method called the
"Natural Approach". The philosophy of the Natural Approach states that we learn
foreign languages the same way toddlers learn their first language. Listening precedes one
word utterances which precedes multiple word utterances.

LATIN I
Introduction to Latin for beginners, or those who wish to renew their acquaintance with
the language. This class will be taught in a fairly traditional manner with the emphasis
on reading and writing Latin rather than on conversation. A knowledge of Latin enriches
one's understanding of English and other modern languages and opens the door to a culture
and environment. Materials supplied.
