Atlantic Salmon flies are the art form of the fly fishing world. The following photos are samples of the craft. Each one is hand tied and takes many hours. Some are traditional patterns and others are original creations of my own.

These flies are an example of Mr. McMullen's original designs. Great care is taken in the selection of the materials used. The materials are picked to achieve a balance of color, texture and placement on the hook

Autumn and Aurora are good examples of a technique know as "marrying feathers" in a wing. Several different feathers are chosen carefully so that when sections of each feather are cut out the can be reassembled as if they were one feather.
